These floats are GREAT for amateur anglers. We’re very laid back, and the experienced anglers will have you catching smallies in no time. We have lots of experienced anglers who try their first river float on the Mississippi, and they always come back. You do need to bring your own kayak. While a couple veterans use their pedal drive, it’s maybe best to leave the drive at home. Rocks and shallow spots are frequent even when the river is running high.
